Job Description
Under the supervision of the Special Education Department, the clerk will support a
number of schools in their adherence to the regulatory requirements associated with Special Education laws and regulations.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Duties:
by:
Organizing, maintaining, tracking, copying & transferring of student records when necessary.
Limited Data entry and retrieval of information from SEIMS system as requested by the Team Facilitator
Assist with obtaining parent/ guardian signatures.
Assist with scheduling of Team meetings and maintenance of ETF calendar
Assist ETF with adherence to regulatory requirements as requested by ETF and/or Supervisor
Good communication skills both verbal and written to support parents, outside agencies, BPS departments, Non-BPS personnel, etc.
Maintain office supplies
Maintain confidentiality of student records and information.
5 . Assist in facilitating the work of the ETF
Qualifications:
High School diploma
Basic computer skills including word processing, e-mail and Intranet and Internet skills
Good communication and organization skills
Ability to support a number of schools on a weekly basis as directed by the Special
Education Compliance Department.
Salary
